French Amie Small Hair Barrette is a cellulose acetate barrette with a metal clasp that clicks closed. The rectangular bar measures approximately 2.25 inches long by 0.25 inch wide.

A small hair barrette holds bangs, side sections, half up styles and shorter layers, so it suits fine, thin and medium hair as well as smaller sections of thick hair. The clasp opens and closes with one hand and the flat bar sits close to the head, which makes it easy to wear all day at work, at school, at events or while travelling. Small clip barrettes are also used in pairs to pin back both sides of the hair.
